MITT, the Jets Marivent brand, continues its expansion in the market and has set its sights on the medium-cylinder custom segment, to which it arrives with a surprising product that seeks the most authentic roots of each concept in a current key, proposing a triple move to satisfy different tastes and sensitivities within the custom world. The high level of detail and the purism in each recipe define this new family, which comes as a fresh alternative to a cylinder where motorcycles of this type have been lost with true essence.

The MITT 808 responds to the most classic spirit, with simple lines, while the BIG FOOT 808 embodies an innovative bobber concept with a round rear thanks to a huge rear tire. And the range is crowned by a superlative 100% North American bagger-style cruiser called TRAVELLER 808. All of them masterfully combine the most traditional details with avant-garde touches that give them a refined neo-retro image.

This captivating 808 range is developed around a striking 799 cc water-cooled V-Twin engine whose maximum power is 56 hp at 7,000 revolutions, which perfectly meets what any lover of this type of motorcycle expects: a higher torque figure for powerful driving sensations, as 67 Nm are announced at only 5,500 rpm. In the case of the Traveller version, the engine increases power slightly to 60 hp and 72 Nm. An important feature is that in all of them the final transmission is by belt, a key detail that provides ease of maintenance and smoothness of operation. And all of them are limitable for the A2 card, which amplifies the range of audience they are aimed at.

MITT 808

He is the most conservative member of the family in terms of aesthetic concept, with simple lines that well define his philosophy of a quiet and rugged motorcycle. The position of the footrests stands out, which dispense with the advanced controls to impose a very natural driving posture as they are located in a centered position. The seat is located only 760 mm above the ground, making it very accessible. This is also affected by the combination of a 19-inch front wheel with a 16-inch rear wheel to achieve that characteristic downward pattern. The two overlapping long and low exhausts, the bellows of the conventional fork or the chrome fenders are indispensable to his personality. And it can be equipped with side saddlebags and rear backrest to reinforce its rugged spirit.

The instrumentation is minimalist, fully digital, in which the engaged gear indicator stands out. All the lighting is LED, like another wink that adds to the most current flashes.

A fundamental part of its lines is the teardrop-shaped fuel tank with a capacity of 13 liters, which definitely contributes to its refined aesthetics.

MITT 808 BIG FOOT

The 808 BIG FOOT adopts the name thanks to its 240 section rear tires manufactured specifically by CST. It is one of the few motorcycles on the market that use such an extremely wide rubber, achieving a brutal and irreverent aesthetic effect. In this case, the rear wheel is 17 inches and is combined with a 19 inch front wheel. Likewise, the silhouette of the motorcycle descends and is emphasized by the fact that the rear fender is very Bobber-style, surrounding the wheel with the minimum surface and contributing to that attractive single-seater appearance even though it is an approved motorcycle for two people.

The 808 BIG FOOT has an impressive and intimidating presence thanks to that dominance of black, of the darkness that suits it so well, and at the same time also sophisticated thanks to the fully LED lighting.

Its seat is located only 720 mm above the ground, which will require a simple and intuitive ride thanks to a very low center of gravity.

The instrumentation is small, spherical and digital, reinforcing the more modern side of his groundbreaking cruiser proposal.

It shares the colorful 13-liter tank with the 808 that gives the set so much personality, as well as the long exhausts that reaffirm the “long and low” proposal so characteristic of the custom world that has a rebel among its ranks in the Big Foot.
