The arrow-shaped front of the MITT URBAN 125 It has a small width and has been designed to the maximum to provide good protection for the legs when driving on fast roads without compromising its effectiveness in congested traffic in the city center. This is the bulkiest part of the body, because maximum narrowness has been maintained in the rear area, promoting seat comfort and easy access for the passenger, which has practical retractable aluminum footrests and handles integrated into the rear luggage rack.
Two boomerang-shaped luminous signatures stand out on the front and support the double headlight, which in its lower part is divided by a triangular molding, enhancing the force transmitted by the front view. And the turn signals, also LEDs, like the rest of the lighting, are embedded in the extension of the fairing at the bottom, finishing off the general feeling of sportiness that their aesthetics convey.
El MITT URBAN 125 offers complete digital instrumentation consisting of an attractive LCD screen with speedometer, odometer, engine speed scale and fuel tank level, as well as light indicators for turn signals and long lights. On the back of the shield to the left of the steering column, there is an open glove compartment and a useful USB connection. On the right is the fully functional contact cylinder and a safety shutter to protect the lock. The seat is opened by means of a switch right next to it and when you activate it, you access a practical box to store our everyday objects.
The flat platform of the MITT URBAN 125 allows maximum mobility and also makes it possible to carry a package or bag attached with the safety hook arranged for this purpose. This flat surface is possible thanks to the effective tubular lower chassis that definitely contributes to its extraordinary lightness, with only 104 kg of empty weight, making everyday handling as simple as moving a bicycle. This characteristic of its design, together with the seat of only 765 mm in height with respect to the ground, make the MITT URBAN 125 on a scooter ideal for people of any size.
Its wheelbase is also one of the most compact: only 1,320 mm, which together with its very light weight, 14-inch wheels and low body width make it a perfect scooter to perform better in traffic than any other vehicle.
Mechanics follows the practical philosophy that characterizes the MITT URBAN 125. Its engine is a modern Euro5 unit with an ultra-light design, equipped with electronic injection and forced air cooling, which delivers 9 horsepower, enough to move the lightweight unit with great energy thanks to a CVT transmission with a quick-response variator and in exchange for minimal fuel consumption. In addition to the electric starter, it also offers an auxiliary lever system, something that very few scooters currently offer and which provides invaluable help in the face of unexpected battery discharge, something that can happen after a long period of inactivity.
Braking is entrusted to a combined system, which activates both the front disc and the rear drum when the left lever is operated to ensure safe braking and avoid blockages, and also has direct control over the front disc from the right lever.
